Blocked Toilets
A pan that fills or drains badly is usually the trap or the main line, and we clear it and run water through to show it working.
From a slow toilet to a collapsed sewer, every drain job around Sandstone Point runs through this one locally owned service: clearing, CCTV inspection and pipe repairs.
If we're late, $100 comes off your bill

Every drain job comes down to three moves: find the cause, clear it, and fix whatever the pipe itself has given up on. This page maps which service does which job.
Start with the symptom you can see, then follow it to the right page below:

A pan that fills or drains badly is usually the trap or the main line, and we clear it and run water through to show it working.

A sewage smell or a drain that gurgles at every fixture points at the line between your boundary and Unitywater's main, and we work out which side the blockage sits on.

Yards that pool and pits that fill on a downpour need the stormwater line checked from the gutter all the way to where it finishes.

Kitchen, bathroom and laundry sinks, showers and floor wastes all slow with fat, hair and sand, and hydro jetting or the eel clears them.

When the cause will not show itself, a camera run along the pipe shows the crack, the root ball or the fallen section exactly where it sits.

Broken, cracked and root-riddled pipes can be excavated and swapped for new pipe, or relined from inside, and you see both prices before either starts.
$0 call-out fees, available 24/7, and same-day where we can.

The ground and the salt air here shape drain work more than most suburbs realise:
The last census counted 4094 people here at a median age of 62, living in 1842 dwellings that are mostly detached houses and townhouses, so the original pipe stock is decades old.
Homes beside the Passage and the marina stand in salt-laden air, which pits brass and steel, and it is no kinder to gully grates and tank stands than it is to foreshore houses.
Rainfall averages 1205 millimetres a year, and a good share of it lands in the stormy months, shedding off the rise down onto the delta flats.
The streets that grew around the bridge carry older asbestos-cement mains and newer PVC-U, and the two fail in different ways.

The decision usually runs in that order:
when the drain simply runs slow and nothing suggests a break in the pipe. Fat, hair, sand and soft root threads all clear with jet blasting or the eel.
when the blockage returns, when the cause stays hidden, or when you need to know the pipe's condition before committing to anything. See what CCTV drain inspection shows.
when the camera finds a crack, a root ball wedged in a joint or a fallen section. The dig-or-reline decision is yours, priced both ways first.

Different housing here fails in different ways:
original asbestos-cement sewers and stormwater lines at the age where joints crack and roots find them.
shared sewer branches where one household's fat becomes every household's problem.
PVC-U drains in good condition, but downpipes and pits still flood when the outfalls sit low.

Three things drive the price of any drain job here:
A drain in open lawn is a quick job, while one under a concrete driveway or behind a retaining wall costs more to get at.
Old asbestos-cement mains need gentler handling than modern PVC-U, and a deep sewer line takes longer than a shallow one.
Grease and sand wash through once cleared, while a root mass or a broken section can turn a clean into a repair.
Our run also covers Banksia Beach, Bellara, Bongaree, Godwin Beach and Ningi, on both sides of the Passage.
Describe the symptoms on the phone and the plumber will tell you whether it points to a clean, a camera inspection or a repair, and you still agree the fixed price before any work starts.
Usually, yes: most blocked drains here respond to hydro jetting or the eel, and the camera waits until a blockage proves stubborn or keeps coming back.
You get the price for the dig-and-replace and the price for relining side by side, then you choose, and nothing is booked until you say go ahead with one of them.
We do, if the pit and the line are inside your boundary; near the bridge we also want to know where the water ends up before quoting the clear.
Most days, yes: ring early and a plumber can usually be out to you before the day is out, but we won't say so until we know what is already booked.
